James Smith Honors Four Role Models as part of Mu Boule Foundation’s Role Models Of-The-Year Dinner and Fundraising Event

October 25th, 2023, marked the second annual fundraising event for the Mu Boule Foundation. Current president, James Smith, along with Foundation Board members, were excited to present awards to these mentors in the STEM Building on the campus of Kean University. The recipients of the awards included senior corporate finance executive Curtis Wilson, SVP, general counsel and corporate secretary Kim Banks MacKay, and entrepreneur and business owner Sherrod Madison, along with the honorable congresswoman Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman. The fundraising event benefits the Foundation’s mentorship and scholarship programs, including the Role Model for Successful Manhood (RMM). The RMM program provides mentoring by the men of the Mu Boule organization, to young men from Newark, NJ and the surrounding area. Additionally, the scholarships provided by this fundraising event benefits young college-bound men in STEM.
